cant add songs

i fix the ipod that i bought but i cant put any music on it? when i plug it into my computer i get a windows buble thing on the bottom of the screen that says that a usb mass storage divice was connected and thats it? how do i get music on it? i trid podtoos and when i select my ipod it says the file storing your ipod was not found on ipod IPOD (f:). some of your ipod files must b missing and this probably needs to b fixed heres a screen shot

Download and install this, then restore the iPod with it:

After that, put music on with iTunes:

trid all that and when i try to add music the hole computer freezes and then i get an error saying windows cannot write to f:ipod/ipod control/f03 something like that i forget exactly what it says? and i have to restore the ipod cuz i get a error if i dont and if i do get a song on it it only plays for about 15 seconds and all i hear it the beat i cant hear any of the words? and some times the songs dont even play ill just get a buzzing noise?
