iPod Mini Extinction

Apple is making it known that they wont be producing the Mini no longer.

Its breaks my poor littl heart... I personally liked the mini over the nano. Even though its not color with picture capabilities... I still prefer the Mini, seems more stable and durable and comes with greater hard disk space.

The smaller size isnt always better, the Nano costs more and you get less...

So is the Mini going to be extinct? Or has someone supplied a warehouse full of them and ready to sell them...

I think Apple should make a 10GB Nano before they stop Mini Production completely.

One: The mini has been discontinued for almost a year now.

Two: if it was 10GB it would not be nano. An 6, 7, or 8 gb may be cool to put it in the nano line.

Three: The nanon has many capablilities and if you're a believer of expanding your oppurtunities and voiding the warranty you can get great games and videos on the nano.

Almost a year? The nano was announced about 1/4th of a year ago.

Wow people exaggerate too much anymore. I heard someone say that a Nano was $300 and here someone else is saying that the Mini was discontinued the beginning of last year! Get your facts straight!

Well, either way, my Point is.. the Mini is going to be discontinued, and I agree with most people when I say, that the mini should be re-designed by maybe adding more Gigs instead of replacing it with the Nano, which is so little memory.

Thats the greatest downfall of replacing the mini with nano, the memory size.

It should be atleast 8GB

It came in 4 and 6GB models.
