Cant turn ipod on

I lost the charger for my ipod a while back and have been using the usb cable to charge it but when I updated the ipod software I had no idea I would need the power adaptor to turn it back on. Is there any way to get passed this without buying another adaptor?

Go to the house of a friend with the power adapter. ;)

Other than that, I do not believe there is a solution, sorry.

just found a fix. If anyone else is having problem I did go here

all you have to do is plug usb cable in partially and ipod will think it is plugged into wall charger since only the power prongs are in the computer.
