ipod mini select button wont work

I bought an ipod mini 1st gen with a broken clcikwheel wire I than installed a new clickwheel. Ever since i installed it the select button will not work. The weird thing is i can still reset the ipod. im desperate to get it working so im up to any suggestios. Also i allready resored it.

This is like your 6th thread about this and nobody can help you. The only thing I can suggest is that the new clickwheel is defective, so stop posting about your select button!!!
