I bought an ipod mini on ebay with a broken clickwheel plug. I took out the clickwheel and put in my spair 2nd gen clickwheel the ipod mini would not respond to any buttons pressed on the clickwheel. Disapointed the took apart the 1st gen clickwheel that cam with the mini, and took the round clickwheel part off. Than i plugged the round clickwheel into the 2nd gen clickwheel wire it aslo has a select button in the middle and a metal backing. The clickwheel would not work. Only 2 buttons worked on the clickwheel, the play and back button and they were mixed up and not where they sohuld be. i Figure this is just an incamptabability with the 2 peices or what? Maby i sohuld buy anpther clickwheel unless theres an easier way around this.
