mini: clickwheel after being wet.

lol. the story is hillarious.
me n my buddy got wasted, came home and i decided to listen to music while goin to sleep... before goin to sleep i took a shower and went to bed, turned on the ipod and put it next to my pillow.
(i did al this being trashed :D)
i woke up ON the ipod. the trouble was: after the shower i didnt use any towels and went straight to bed w/ ipod :D

so it got wet... i put it near to a heat went (~30degrees) and dried it for ~36hrs.

ipod works as a hard drive - all fine.
clickwheel - only pause and << (back) button work.
if i do gentle manipulations with the clickwheel and gently press on other areas on the clickwheel the function >> (fwd) and menu sometimes work.

i thought that the clickwheel sensors got screwed...

any ideas how to fix this problem with the clickwheel?

Lol.... serves you right. But anways im pretty sure that the clickwheel is f***ed but just to be sure maby the clickwheel plug is not in properly or the connection is wet. So find a site on opening the mini and dry the connection or maby you nned a new clickwheel.

You may want to blow through the edges of the click wheel. My guess would be that there is still humidity inside, which confuses the click wheel, as it reacts to conductive materials (your finger, but also water).
