My son't ipod mini is frozen at the apple screen. I let the battery run out and recharged it, but it's still frozen. When I plug it in to the computer, Itunes doesn't even launch....any suggestions?

That's what it is supposed to do. After that nothing else happens?

Well ok I got it. I was using EPH pod to move songs on to the Mini. Upon exiting it asked to "Save Update to iPod" after that it was all locked up. So I rebooted it like you're supposed to. At that point it would freeze at the Apple. Then I was able to get it into the Disk Mode by pressing and holding the Play and Select. I then was able to connect to my PC and open iTunes. iTunes automatically "Updated" the iPod and now it works..

Thanks for the help.

Try going into disk mode so your computer will recognize it and try to restore, mizforbes.
