problem with ipod min

hey, this is a really silly problem, but my ipod mini is stuck playing the same song all the time, i cant view any other artists listed on it...please help!!

take the hold switch off.

Keep the menu + center buttons pressed until the Apple logo appears. Let it start up and then try again.
